PAPERMOOD 【Aloma】Book Cover

In Western stories, the dove holds an olive branch in its mouth, conveying the hope that the flood has receded and that new life is possible. The dove has traditionally been a symbol of peace in art and literature. We drew inspiration from Spanish modernist painter Pablo Picasso's masterpieces "Doves of Peace with Olive Branches" and "Guernica" to create this book cover.
The light blue fabric background is like the sky, with several doves hovering and flying with olive branches in their mouths.
The body of the doves is skillfully rendered in towel embroidery, while the chain embroidery outlines the doves and olive branches flying gracefully in the wind.
We hope to convey peace and hope through this unique book cover.
